Starwalk of Dallas is one of the largest party and event rental companies in Texas. We have been in business for over 15 years and are expanding rapidly. We are looking for friendly, outgoing, qualified sales and event coordinators with great communication and customer relationship skills.

Nature of the Work:

Your primary focus of responsibility will be to book, plan, and coordinate residential events and birthday parties, and large-scale events for cities, corporate events, schools, and churches. Provide customers detailed information about our rental equipment and entertainment services to help customers find and select the appropriate rental equipment and entertainment services that best meets their needs.

Communicate the rental equipment and services contracted to all department managers and event staff to ensure all details of the events are covered for a smooth event. Coordinate outside entertainment services when requested by client.

Daily Responsibilities includes answering telephones, responding to email requests, reserving equipment, explaining rental fees, recommending rental equipment, accessories, and entertainment services. Maintaining price quotes and rental reservations files, arranging contracts for delivery, explaining company policies, and collecting payments. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is a plus.

Working Conditions: Most of the work will be done in general office conditions. May be exposed to outside elements while conducting site planning and overseeing coordination of events when needed. Work is fast paced, demanding and very rewarding.

Education, Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years experience in sales or event planning.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent. College degree is a plus
  • Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
  • Must possess sales and customer relation skills.
  • Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience
  • Computer knowledge is a must.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proficient in typing
  • Training on CRM / rental software will be provided.
  • Experience with Multiple phone line use is helpful
  • Event Rental Industry experience is a plus
  • Social Media marketing experience is a plus
  • Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly.
  • Must pass company drug screen.
  • Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
